I’m going on a honey moon in July or December and I need your opinions. Where are some of the best travel destinations for honeymooners? I don’t want to break the bank though and get back home and have to live on the streets cause I can’t pay my rent. Help a sista out…

I would suggest South Beach, Miami. It’s young and hip but it also has some very romantic places to see/eat at.

Motel 6. They are cheap, and there is probably 1 near you.
My suggestion is not to go anywhere fancy, just somewhere fun for both of you. For example, you could go to a sports game (if you both like the sport), go to Medieval Times (for dinner and show), or even just go on a trip to see the sites.
My wife and I spent our weeklong honeymoon and home, away from everyone. It was great to just relax and spend time with eachother.
I would suggest a cruise or a package deal like to Mexico so that all the meals are included. Try BJs wholesale they have great packages!!!
My husband and I are very young and love being married. We went to DisneyWorld in Florida. You can get packages that allow you to do a lot of things and it isn’t too much money. I know it sounds childish but there are a lot of fun things to do there other than “Disney” stuff. We saw Cirque de Solue (sp?) and ate several romantic dinners and got massages together. There is a lot to do if you are a child and a lot to do if you are an adult. There is a whole adult park that is new called Downtown Disney. Its just a lot of fun.

We were also on a Budget and we found great packages on the Internet.
We spent less than $ 3000 for one full week. The package (which included Air and Hotel expenses) was $ 1899 and we stayed at an INCREDIBLE hotel.

Go to the British Virgin Islands. On the island of Tortola, there is a little hideaway called Carries Island Comfort Inn that is just marvelous.It is located 3 mins by car from the beach, has georgeous views and it is so romantic. If you come in July, the rates have gone down and everything is much cheaper and the weather will be warm.
