Is it better to layover in Sea-Tac or LAX in December?
Question by hallmanjj: Is it better to layover in Sea-Tac or LAX in December?
I have the option of connecting to my final destination in either Seattle-Tacoma or LA. Given that the prices and travel times are virtually identical, which would be the better airport to layover? This will be a December flight, so would weather be an issue at SeaTac?

There are occasionally issues in Seattle during the winter due to rain and fog (and, rarely, snow) that can cause delays or cancellations to flights operating there. Given the choice of the two, LAX is less likely to have weather delays.

I would say Seattle since it is smaller than LAX, and easier to navigate.
i prefer LAX. SeaTac’s weather is like London, always raining, gloomy esp on december. in LAX there are a lot of flights that you can take if there will be delay issues. you have a lot of option going to PHX for your connecting or SFO in case the weather will be a nuisance.
It all depends. You can get from any gate in any terminal in Seattle to any other gate without going through security or outside in the rain.
With all of the terminals in LA, you might have to leave one and go through security to get to the connecting flight. That can be a bit of a hassle.
